Our Lens Process
At Youtop Optical, every pair of prescription glasses is made specifically for you. From the moment you place your order to the final quality inspection, we take great care to ensure your eyewear is crafted accurately and comfortably.
While the process may seem simple, every step plays an important role in delivering clear vision you can rely on.
Step 1: We Receive Your Prescription

After you place your order, we securely receive the prescription information you provided during checkout. Whether you've entered your prescription manually or uploaded a copy from your eye care provider, we carefully review the details before production begins.
If any information is missing or appears inconsistent, our customer support team will contact you for clarification before your order moves forward.
Step 2: Prescription Verification

Before your lenses are manufactured, we verify that your prescription is complete and compatible with your selected frame.
Our team checks important details such as:
- Sphere (SPH)
- Cylinder (CYL)
- Axis
- Add power (for progressive lenses)
- Pupillary Distance (PD)
We also review whether the frame you've selected is suitable for your prescription. In some cases, very strong prescriptions may benefit from a higher-index lens or a different frame shape to improve appearance, comfort, and lens thickness. If we believe another option would provide a better result, we'll contact you before production begins.
Step 3: Custom Lens Manufacturing

Once your prescription has been verified, it is sent to our experienced prescription lens laboratory.
Unlike ready-made reading glasses, every prescription lens is individually manufactured according to your unique prescription.
Depending on your order, your lenses may include options such as:
- Single Vision
- Progressive (No-Line Multifocal)
- Reading Lenses
- Blue Light Filtering
- Photochromic (Transition) Lenses
- High-Index Thin Lenses
Each lens is carefully produced to your specifications before moving to the next stage.
Step 4: Precision Edging & Frame Assembly

After your lenses have been manufactured, they are precisely edged to match the exact shape of your selected frame.
Our technicians then professionally fit the lenses into the frame while ensuring proper alignment and secure placement.
This stage requires careful attention to detail so your finished glasses not only provide clear vision but also fit and function as intended.
Step 5: Quality Inspection

Before your glasses leave our facility, every completed pair undergoes a final quality inspection.
Our team checks:
- Prescription accuracy
- Lens alignment
- Frame condition
- Lens coatings and finish
- Overall assembly quality
Only after passing inspection are your glasses approved for shipment.
Step 6: Secure Packaging & Shipping

Once your glasses pass inspection, they're carefully packaged to help protect them during transit.
You'll receive shipping confirmation and tracking information as soon as your order has been dispatched, so you can follow its journey to your doorstep.
